The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations will hold its annual meeting in Greece on February 8-13, following an invitation by Prime Minister George Papandreou. The delegation includes Presidents and Executive Directors of some 50 American organizations that are members of the Conference, as well as heads of European Jewish communities.

During its stay in Greece, the delegation of the "Conference of Presidents" will visit Thessaloniki and Athens, will be received by the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, and will have meetings with other state and regional officials, religious leaders, and members of the Greek Jewish community. Moreover, on February 10, a one-day conference will be held, attended by the Prime Minister and several ministers.
