Petros Efthymiou was re-elected for a second one-year term as president of the Organisation of Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Parliamentary Assembly, at its 20th Annual Session, held in Belgrade on July 7-10.

"I look forward to using this time to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the OSCE and strengthen dialogue with parliaments and other democratic institutions in places where democracy is still a relatively new experiment," said Efthymiou.
