| The Little Greek Pie in London |
It’s your typical London day, drizzle and all, you walk down Fitzrovia , in the centre of the city, and suddenly the smell of freshly baked spinach pie fills the air -is it an illusion? Could it be that the Epirus delicacy has immigrated to rainy London?
Well, Angelo Kleftakis, a Greek entrepreneur decided to open The Little Greek Pie in the heart of London when he realized that Greek pies, ubiquitous in Central Greece, are a quick, healthy snack perfect for London urbanites.
The Little Greek Pie offers pies made from organic spelt, with traditional Greek fillings -wild rice, spinach and feta- and also some more contemporary fillings -such as salmon, spinach and ricotta. Based on fresh ingredients, the menu is strictly seasonal, so follow the little Greek pie on twitter and check out their daily goodies!
