There is no doubt that Greece is going through a difficult period - yet, young entrepreneur from various fields constantly prove that Greece can still be synonym for dynamic and innovative ideas.

To this end, two young fashion creatives have launched a new series of scarves, IS MY Scarf, named after their initials (IS stands for Ioanna Soulioti and MY for Maria Yerula).

The two young women decided to create their own design scarves -the latest "it" accessory of the season- using the best natural Greek silk produced in Soufli, Northern Greece by teaming up with Tsiakiris silk, a leader in Greek sericulture for over 60 years.

The outcome has been beautifully woven silk scarves combined with impressive design patterns. Three of the "is my scarf" products have been stamped with Greek words in English, Greek names and …Greek useful telephone numbers!

On May 30, the Benaki Museum (Pireos Annex) is hosting a one-off photo exhibition of works by 14 renowned Greek fashion photographers who are presenting their own interpretation of the special scarves.
