For the second consecutive year, the Tango Acropolis festival and competition is held in a number of venues in Athens on June 21-24.

The event, officially representing the Buenos Aires Tango Festival in Greece, features workshops by famous Argentinean dancers, milongas and tango shows, a photographic exhibition, a fashion show, concerts by Greek and foreign music ensembles, lectures, historical tributes and a tango cruise on the final day. A competition for couples will last for the duration of the festival.

The winning couples will represent Greece in the semifinals of the World Competition (Tango Mundial) in Buenos Aires which are held every August with participants from around the world.
