After releasing 4 world hit albums with their Secret of Rocks topping the World Music Charts Europe, imaginative duo Kristy Stassinopoulou and Stathis Kalyviotis have just released their latest work, dubbed Greekadelia.

Their music is highly distinctive, blending traditional Greek rhythms and rembetika music with a variety of modern sounds. Their latest album is an homage to traditional demotika songs from all over the country, reworked with lauto, the traditional Greek lute, Indian harmonium along with samples and electronica.

As British daily The Guardian stresses, "there has been little good news from Greece in recent months, so it's great to find a Greek duo doing inventive work".
