In their first ever participation at an international event, the Greek wheelchair rugby team won the Four Nations Cup held in Fontanafredda, Italy from June 29 to July 1.

The team’s debut was truly spectacular, as they secured four straight victories and finished the tournament first and undefeated.

This is a very promising beginning for Coach Alvarez Alfredo’s team, which scored an impressive total of 177 points. The team is supported by the Hellenic Federation For Persons with Disabilities and Alli Opsi (A Different Aspect) NGO, and was formed in September 2010.
