Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will be in the U.S. from September 19 to 28 to participate in the proceedings of the 67th General Assembly of the United Nations and hold a series of meetings in Chicago (September 19-20), Boston (September 20-22) and New York (September 23-28).

On September 27, the FM will address the Plenary of the 67th UN General Assembly. On September 23, Avramopoulos will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Later on the same day,  he will meet with the UN Secretary General’s special envoy Matthew Nimetz  in order to discuss the issue of the name of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
