The Department of Balkan, Slavic & Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki offers a Master’s degree in Politics and Economics of Contemporary Eastern and South- Eastern Europe (2015-2016).

The programme aims to prepare students for careers in business, government, NGOs and international organizations operating in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, as well as to strengthen the skills and deepen the knowledge of people already following such careers.

The Master’s interdisciplinary syllabus ranges from political science and economics to international relations and anthropology. Moreover, it offers financial aid and a number of tuition fees waivers for students with a strong academic record.

Finally, the department offers a Double Masters Programme in cooperation with the University of Bamberg, as well as a variety of Erasmus courses in English. Candidates are welcome to submit their applications all year round.
