The Bourazani Wildlife Resort (http://www.bourazani.gr/) is a privately owned environmental park situated 12 km from the town of Konitsa in the Region of Epirus - devoted to sustainable wildlife management.
The park is an ecotourism complex – the first in Greece – which provides a wide range of on-site environmental education, a high standard hospitality facility, and tours around the wider district.
The estate - a veritable Garden of Eden - which is operated by the third generation of the Tassos family - hosts more than 900 animals of six different species, including deer, wild boar, goat and sheep, in a thick oak forest.
The park is also home to 51 out of the 130 species of orchid found in Greece and 109 of Europe’s approximately 400 butterfly species.
