Alternate FM Meets Arab Ambassadors
Alternate Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas met yesterday with the ambassadors from Arab countries in Athens, with talks focusing on the role that Greece can play in the efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Mediterranean region.
The Greek side stressed the need to safeguard the Mideast Peace Process, with respect for the rules of international law, while a joint effort between Greece and Cyprus is underway to increase the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Olympic Co-operation in the Making
A conference is to be held in Athens aimed at encouraging the participation of Greek businesses in the Olympic projects of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, it was decided at the 7th Joint Inter-ministerial Committee between Greece and Russia which concluded in Sochi, southern Russia yesterday.
The Greek political and business delegation was given a guided tour of Olympic projects under construction and had the opportunity to exchange views and hold meetings with the Organising Committee of the Games and Russian investors.
