The Greek team participating in the 2010 Rowing World Cup (May 28-30), in Bled, Slovenia is returning to Greece today after having won one gold and two bronze medals.
"Golden" Alexandra Tsiavou [PHOTO] competed in the Women's Lightweight Single Sculls race and Triantafyllia Kalampoka together with Christina Giazitzidou finished third at the Women's Lightweight Double Sculls race.
Following the girls’ successful course, the twins Apostolos and Nikos Goudoulas won a bronze medal in the coxless pairs final.
Greece participated in the event with seven crews and this year’s World Cup is "warming athletes up" for the World Rowing Championships which will be held in Bled, Slovenia, a year from now.
The Rowing World Cup is an international rowing competition organized by FISA (the International Rowing Federation), since 1997.
