A photography exhibition titled "From the Bosporus to the Adriatic: French photographers discover monuments in the Balkans, 1878-1914" is being inaugurated today, in Thessaloniki, constituting part of the 21st Photobiennale International Photography Meeting.
The exhibition is divided into two parts: the first includes photos of monuments from antiquity, while the second focuses on monuments inspired by Byzantine architecture.
The event is taking place at the Rotunda, marking its reopening to the public for cultural purposes after 10 years. The Rotunda has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage monument, along with other Paleochristian and Byzantine monuments of Thessaloniki.
