The 7th Annual San Francisco Greek Film Festival is screening 21 classical and contemporary short and feature films, by Greek and Greek-American filmmakers.
The lineup includes a combination of comedy and drama, a documentary, and for the first time, an animation film for children and adults.
These featured productions -such as Acadimia Platonos, Dogtooth, Wishes, Nisos (the Island), The Tree We Hurt, and The Man with the Carnation - have all together received 33 awards worldwide.
The event opened on May 16 and runs through May 23.
