Deputy Foreign Minister in Moscow
Deputy FM, Spyros Kouvelis, arrived in Moscow on June 6, on a three-day visit to Russia.
Yesterday, Kouvelis co-chaired, with the Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin, the 7th Greek-Russian Joint Inter-ministerial Committee meeting and attended a Greek-Russian Business Forum.
Today, Kouvelis is travelling to Sochi, where he will meet with the Russian Deputy Premier Dmitry Kozak to discuss the possibility of Greek enterprises participating in the preparations for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

A new documentary film titled "Hold At All Costs - The Battle of Outpost Harry"- is to be broadcasted internationally around Armistice day ( November 11) 2010 .
The film depicts the Battle of Outpost Harry, one of the last definitive battles of the Korean War, where the Greeks played a significant role in the effort, fighting valiantly alongside the Americans.
The eight-day battle was capped during the last two days by the Greeks, who finally helped win the fight against the Chinese.

Alexis Tsipras was re-elected yesterday as president of the Coalition of the Left (Synaspismos) party, following a three-day extraordinary party conference. According to the electoral committee, Tsipras collected 785 votes out of the 1,038 delegates who voted.

The Greek national football team arrived in South Africa, yesterday morning. The team will be based in Durban for the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2010, which begins on Friday, June 11.
