Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) – the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare – celebrates its 8th year, with events organized in 160 countries around the world (November 16-22, 2015).

It attracts and engages high-profile entrepreneurs, eager to share their personal experiences so as to inspire people through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. 

 
GEW Greece takes part with activities in various Greek cities, co-hosted by the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Young Entrepreneurs. This year’s theme is “Fostering inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship”, and events include: “Agrostartup”, “Inspire-Dare-Dream-venture”, “Growth through the Maritime Economy”, “Guide-Map for Eco-friendly Businesses” and “Entrepreneurship, Innovation & the Global Goals”. 
 
In Athens, the second edition of Startup Safary ATHENS (Nov 20 – 22) takes place in multiple locations around the city. Some of the event’s community partners are leading entrepreneurial organizations and initiatives, such as Repower Greece,Academy of EntrepreneurshipAephoria,Impact Hub and the Found.Ation
 
Participating companies, incubators, accelerators and start-ups will open their doors offering a chance to meet their founders and teams. Attendees will have the chance to take part in workshops, networking events, office tours and recruitment sessions.
