This coordinated national effort reflects a strong commitment to preserving Greece’s invaluable cultural heritage for future generations in the face of climate change.

Under the auspices of the Greek Embassy in Luxembourg, an event titled “Literature: Greece – Luxembourg” will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

The Saronic Gulf, defined by the imaginary line connecting Poros and Cape Sounion, is one of Greece’s most emblematic maritime regions. Human presence in the area dates back to the Bronze Age, and it has played a pivotal role throughout history.
