Rebrain Greece: a digital mechanism to attract talent

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has put in place a mechanism for linking high-skilled talent, both within and outside Greece, with positions of high specialisation. The new mechanism aims to link the two sides of the labor market, i.e. valuable human capital, with businesses in Greece in a modern and efficient way. In this way, the Greek ecosystem integrates human capital with superior skills, with expertise, work experience and, in general, an international business culture.

Two Greek academics honored by Columbia University

Computer Science Professors Christos Papadimitriou and Mihalis Yannakakis received the John von Neumann Theory Prize for their research in computational complexity theory at the 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting which took place Meeting in October in Phoenix, AZ. This is an important distinction for the two leading Greek academics for their outstanding scientific work and their contribution to computer science.

“Authentic” : Word of the year 2023

The Greek word “authentic” is the word of the year according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, as it was the most looked up word in the US in the digital version of the Merriam-Webster English dictionary.

NASA award to Greek researcher

Olga Malandraki, a leading Greek researcher in Space Physics, Head of the Space Weather Operational Unit at the National Observatory of Athens which provides space weather forecasts at an international level, has been honored by NASA with the Group Achievement Award, as part of NASA’s Parker solar probe team, for research into the mysteries of the Sun.
