Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski at the Maximos Mansion and subsequently attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Greek Government and the company, in the presence, on behalf of the government, of the Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou and the Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni. During the meeting, they discussed the main areas of cooperation, with a focus on the use of ElevenLabs technology on the Gov .gr portal, in tourism, and in the preservation of Greece’s local dialects and idioms.

Greece: A Successful Example of Fiscal Policy

The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Thanos Petralias, presented Greece’s economic progress and the challenges it has faced in recent years at the 48th Annual Meeting of Senior Budget Officials of the OECD, held on May 27 in Paris under the theme “Rationalising Public Finances.”

He highlighted Greece’s successful fiscal trajectory, underscoring the country’s economic performance and the reforms implemented over the past years.

University of Peloponnese Successfully Concludes Summer School “Regional Tech Waves: Robotics, AI & XR”

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the School of Engineering at the University of Peloponnese successfully organized the Summer School “Regional Tech Waves: Robotics, AI & XR,” held from May 19 to May 21, 2026.

The event took place as part of the Educational Activities of the Regional Growth Conference and was hosted at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.
