It is an initiative that seeks to redesign and digitize services provided by the Greek Consular Authorities worldwide, thereby enhancing their communication with Greek nationals residing abroad and providing faster and more efficient services.

Mikis Theodorakis stands out as one of modern Greece’s most prolific and internationally renowned composers, born on July 29, 1925. To honor the centenary of his birth, the Hellenic Ministry of Culture has declared 2025 the “Year of Mikis Theodorakis."
On this occasion, and in the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Strategic Planning for the years 2024–2027 and its initiatives to promote Greek culture, many embassies and consulates of Greece worldwide have throughout this year organized events to honor Mikis Theodorakis and pay tribute to his legacy.

The exhibition “The Olympic Ideal and the Truce, 776 BC – 2024: 2,800 years of history”, created by the E' General Directorate of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consists of 15 photographs presented in the form of banners.

Through the presentation of archaeological evidence and historical photographs, the history of the Olympic Games is illustrated, starting from antiquity and continuing with the revival of the Olympic movement at the end of the 19th century and the first modern Games in Athens in 1896, running through the 20th century and ending with the latest Summer Games in Paris in 2024.
