EKKOMED and Netflix Join Forces

The Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center (EKKOMED) and Netflix have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration to strengthen Greece’s creative industry.

Through this partnership, selected Greek screenwriters and directors nominated by EKKOMED will gain access to Netflix’s Digital Training Platform, featuring curated modules, tutorials, and exclusive sessions with international showrunners and creators.

Greece’s Minister of Environment and Energy, Stavros Papastavrou, met last week with the U.S. Secretary of the Interior and Chair of the U.S. National Energy Dominance Council, Doug Burgum, and the U.S. Secretary of Energy and Vice Chair of the U.S. National Energy Dominance Council, Chris Wright, in the presence of the Ambassador of Greece to the United States, Mr. Antonis Alexandridis, and the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Ms. Kimberly Guilfoyle.
